Delta Joins IBM’s Quantum Network

IBM and Delta Air Lines announced their joint collaboration to explore the potential capabilities of quantum computing through the IBM Q Network to transform experiences for customers and employees. This collaboration gives Delta access to IBM’s quantum capabilities—including the recently announced 53-qubit quantum computer—for commercial use cases and fundamental research.

SAIC Wins $727 Million Application Modernization Contract

The U.S. Air Force awarded the Common Computing Environment (Cloud One) contract to Science Applications International Corp. (SAIC). SAIC will migrate approximately 800 USAF and U.S. Army mission applications into the cloud. The contract will also serve U.S. Army applications, as part of its cloud strategic framework. SAIC’s solution leverages proven success and capabilities in cloud, IT modernization, software, cyber, and data analytics.

Cubic and Moovit Partner to Deliver World-Class Mobile Experiences

Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS), a division of Cubic Corporation, and Moovit signed a definitive agreement to co-develop next-generation mobile solutions for public transit agencies. The partnership will integrate Moovit’s MaaS APIs with Cubic’s Mobile Suite to offer an advanced traveler experience based on Moovit’s multimodal trip planning and Cubic’s mobile payment and ticketing capabilities.

Wasabi Partners with QNAP to Offer High Efficiency for Hybrid Cloud

Wasabi announced its integration with QNAP Systems. QNAP NAS users can now use a cloud object storage service that offers simple pricing, cost efficiency and high performance. Wasabi co-founder and CEO David Friend says the integration of QNAP’s backup and cloud storage gateway software with Wasabi hot cloud storage creates an affordable pathway for businesses to build a highly efficient hybrid cloud solution with easy and affordable pricing.
