Capella Space Postpones Launch of Sequoia

Capella Space announced it has postponed the launch of Sequoia, previously scheduled to launch this month, due to COVID-19. The company will be working on their plans and releasing more details once they have more concrete updates. The pandemic has impacted the space industry, including Capella Space’s supplier network. SAP System Data in the Splunk Platform Now Available to Government Agencies

Carahsoft Technology and RHONDOS announced that Carahsoft will serve as RHONDOS public sector distributor, making the SAP system data in the Splunk platform available to federal agencies through Carahsoft’s NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V contracts. According to Brant Hubbard, CEO and Founder of RHONDOS, the company offers the only certified SAP-to-Splunk platform connector that also expands to key use cases such as application performance, business process monitoring, and cloud migration. Raytheon Upgrades Air Traffic Surveillance Radars for Brazilian Air Force

Raytheon will modernize the Brazilian Air Force’s surveillance radars across the Amazon. It will upgrade seven legacy radars to the next-generation Monopulse Secondary Surveillance Radar system, Condor Mk3, increasing efficiency and reducing electric energy consumption. Raytheon previously installed the legacy radars in the early 2000s under the Brazilian System for the Vigilance of the Amazon project and they have been in continuous operation since installation. The new, more advanced Condor Mk3 introduces new features such as automatic adaptive power control, fully configurable software, a high-duty cycle transmitter and built-in ADS-B, all in a much smaller footprint.
