Esri’s ArcGIS Runtime Local Server SDK 100.8 Now Available, InTec Selected to Support U.S. Census Bureau, Booz Allen Selected to Support GSA, DoD Joint AI Center, and More

ArcGIS Runtime Local Server SDK 100.8 Now Available

Esri has finalized ArcGIS Runtime Local Server SDK 100.8 and it is now available for download from the ArcGIS for Developers site. This release contains the following updates: Local Server ArcGIS Pro-based components updated to version 2.5 to provide support for map and geoprocessing packages created with ArcGIS Pro 2.5.x. Local Server ArcMap-based components updated to 10.8 to provide support for map and geoprocessing packages created with ArcMap 10.8.x.

Version 100.8 will be the last ArcGIS Runtime Local Server release to support ArcGIS Desktop 10.x packages. The next version will require packages to be created with ArcGIS Pro.

 InTec Selected to Support US Census Bureau

InTec has been awarded a five-year, $30 million single-award contract to support the United States Census Bureau’s (USCB) IT Program Management Office (PMO) to serve as the nation’s leading provider of quality data about its people and economy. “This was a great win for Team InTec and shows our continuous commitment to bringing mission-focused and innovative solutions to our customers,” said Todd Harrod, vice president of InTec’s Federal-Civilian and Defense Business Unit. “This win is another step in our efforts to work on the most important missions in government.”

Booz Allen Selected to Support GSA, DoD Joint AI Center

Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) has been awarded a five-year, $800 million contract by the General Services Administration’s (GSA), Federal Systems Integration and Management Center (FEDSIM), and the Department of Defense (DoD) to provide artificial intelligence (AI) services to support the Joint AI Center (JAIC). Under this task BAH will support the JAIC’s Joint Warfighting National Mission Initiative (JWNMI), serving as the prime systems integrator in the development of new AI technologies and products to improve operational effectiveness in all domains. In this capacity, BAH will coordinate and work with industry to source and integrate the best technologies to meet JWNMI’s complex requirements and deliver world-class AI capabilities.

Parsons Selected for U.S. Air Force ABMS Contract

Parsons has been awarded a $950,000,000 ceiling indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the maturation, demonstration, and proliferation of capabilities across platforms and domains, leveraging open systems design, modern software, and algorithm development in order to enable Joint All Domain Command and Control. This contract is part of a multiple award, multi-level security effort to provide development and operation of systems as a unified force across all domains in an open architecture family of systems that enables capabilities via multiple integrated platforms.

Raytheon Technologies has appointed Dantaya Williams as chief human resources officer. Williams joined the company in 1999 and was most recently vice president of human resources for the Commercial Engines division of Pratt & Whitney, overseeing key initiatives in talent, diversity, employee relations and HR transformation for its global workforce.

Experienced chief executive, Gulf War veteran and pilot James D. Taiclet has become president and CEO of Lockheed Martin Corporation. He succeeds Marillyn A. Hewson, who served as chairman, president and CEO since 2014. Taiclet will continue to serve as a member of the corporation’s board, which he joined in 2018. Hewson will become executive chairman of the board and provide ongoing support for the leadership transition.
