Peraton Awarded $188M in Systems Development and Mission Capability Integration Work

Peraton was awarded multiple new and expanded contracts for systems development and mission capability integration. The contracts—worth approximately $188 million—support U.S. government customers leading high-consequence national missions spanning multiple warfighting domains. “By fusing our passion for national security with our depth of experience, Peraton regularly contributes to outcomes that meet and exceed our customers’ current and future mission requirements,” said Mike King, Peraton’s chief growth officer. “We are honored to support a comprehensive array of nationally-critical efforts. GA-EMS Selected for US Space Force Electro-Optical Infrared Weather System Prototype Satellite Program

General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems (GA-EMS) was selected for the U.S. Space Force Electro-Optical Infrared (EO/IR) Weather System (EWS) satellite program under the Space Enterprise Consortium (SpEC). GA-EMS will design and manufacture a prototype spacecraft, integrate the EWS payload, and provide on-orbit mission control services to support the collection of theater weather imagery and cloud characterization data for worldwide military operational use. For EWS, GA-EMS is teaming with EOVista, LLC, Atmospheric and Environmental Research Inc. (AER), and Braxton Technologies, LLC. EOVista provides the EO/IR payload, AER Inc. performs weather product generation, and Braxton Technologies, LLC provides mission Enterprise Ground Station (EGS) command and control and operations support.

Landmark Agreement Unites Parties in Boosting Commercial Space Operations in California

Leaders from the State of California, Regional Economic Action Coalition (REACH), the Vandenberg Air Force Base 30th Space Wing, Cal Poly State University, and Deloitte announced a commitment to develop a thriving spaceport at Vandenberg Air Force Base and the surrounding area. According to the memorandum of understanding, the parties will develop a master plan that identifies the required infrastructure, human capital development, governance and financing necessary to support the U.S. Space Force mission and position California as a global leader in the future of the commercial space industry. The memorandum is a key part of a larger strategy for economic development in the Central Coast region, built in collaboration with the governor’s Regions Rise Together initiative, REACH, and Deloitte.

Copado to Help Federal, State and Local Agencies Leverage DevOps to Accelerate and Scale Digital Transformation Projects

Copado, a leading native DevOps platform for Salesforce, announced Copado Government Cloud to help government agencies accelerate the time-to-value of Salesforce digital transformation projects. With Copado DevOps, federal, state, and local governments can optimize and measure innovation delivery on the Salesforce platform with full visibility and accountability to ever-changing regulatory and security environments. Copado will enable agencies to respond faster, deliver more digital services, scale to unprecedented demands, and connect to its citizens. Copado is also partnering with Carahsoft Technology to streamline the procurement process. Under the agreement, Carahsoft will serve as Copado’s public sector distributor and make Copado DevOps available to government agencies as an AppExchange vendor for Salesforce’s Government Cloud through Carahsoft’s NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement V contracts and National Association of State Procurement Officials ValuePoint cooperative purchasing contract. The partnership is designed to help federal agencies modernize their Salesforce development cycles with a best-in-class DevOps solution.

Woolpert hired Shelly Carroll, PMP, CBAP, ACP, as a geospatial program director in the firm’s maritime market. Carroll has more than 24 years of experience developing and analyzing geospatial data and providing senior leadership in support of federal and state geospatial programs. Her areas of expertise include topographic and bathymetric lidar, hydrographic data, acoustic survey, aerial imagery, and coastal management.
