Work at USGIF

The Foundation seeks a new COO & VP of Programs

career

Dear Community Members,

It’s an exciting time at USGIF as we seek to add dynamic new talent to our world-class staff. The Foundation is currently accepting applications for a new Chief Operating Officer as well as a Vice President of Programs—and we’re hoping the greater GEOINT Community will produce a strong pool of energetic and qualified candidates.

Our next COO will lead all USGIF internal operations, managing multiple direct reports and providing a strong day-to-day leadership presence at the Foundation’s headquarters in Herndon, Va. The role will include providing programmatic guidance in pursuit of USGIF’s strategic goals and identifying opportunities to leverage cross-program strengths. The ideal candidate will also be able to advise a range of stakeholders on financial planning, budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters.

The VP of Programs will lead content development for all USGIF events and programs, including our signature annual GEOINT Symposium, which draws as many as 5,500 attendees from more than 30 countries. Additionally, the VP of Programs will manage content development for a variety of workshops that tackle enduring and emergent topics of interest for intelligence, defense, and homeland security—and, increasingly, the commercial sector. This individual will also oversee USGIF member engagement, to include championing the interface with volunteers leading Foundation Committee and Working Group efforts.

This is a once-in-a-decade opportunity to be part of a fantastic, high-performing team that contributes meaningfully to U.S. and allied defense, intelligence, and homeland security. In addition to an excellent work environment with dedicated colleagues, USGIF offers a competitive salary, health and dental benefits, 401K matching, generous PTO, and flexible schedule opportunities. In the interest of finding the best possible candidates to help the Foundation further its mission, I encourage GEOINT Community members to share these job opportunities with anyone in your network who might be interested in applying. Both positions close Friday, August 31. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Keith J. Masback, CEO, USGIF
