USGIF’s annual State and Future of GEOINT Report provides the GEOINT Community an opportunity to assess the current state of the profession and look ahead to the technologies and tradecraft of the future. This report would not be possible without volunteer authors from government, industry, and academia dedicating their time and thought leadership.

As a result of the overwhelming response received last year, USGIF is again announcing a State and Future of GEOINT call for abstracts.

If you wish to pitch an article for consideration in the 2019 report, please prepare a Word document including:

  • Proposed article title
  • An abstract of no more than 1 page
  • Names, titles, and contact information of at least three authors. Each writing team should also represent a minimum of three organizations.

Submit abstracts to SFOG@usgif.org no later than Friday, June 29.

Writing teams will be notified no later than July 20 whether their article has been selected to progress to the manuscript phase. If selected, manuscript first drafts will be due Sept. 4.

We look forward to reading your abstracts. Please email SFOG@usgif.org with any questions.
