BAE Systems to Create Autonomy Software for Multi-Domain Mission Planning
The U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency awarded BAE Systems a contract to develop software that will enable semi-autonomous multi-domain mission planning. BAE Systems, in collaboration with Carnegie Mellon University, will create software called Multi-domain Adaptive Request Service (MARS). The technology will be designed for military operators to leverage battlespace resources from across various domains such as space, air, land, and sea, for more effective, efficient missions.
CACI Awarded $438 Million to Support C4ISR Programs
CACI was awarded a five-year $438 million single-award task order to support the Air Force Research Laboratory on advancing Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) programs and other functional areas. Under the task order, CACI researchers and team members will develop and sustain Air Force C4ISR programs, like the Distributed Common Ground System. CACI will also provide mission expertise on other functional areas, including multi-domain integration of intelligence and operations across air, space, and cyberspace.
Perspecta Awarded $16 Million Task Order and a Spot on GSA COMET Program
Perspecta received a position on the General Services Administration (GSA) CIO Modernization and Enterprise Transformation (COMET) program. Perspecta will compete for task orders to provide IT management and governance, business process analysis, agile solution architecture and design, agile application development and configuration, analytics, integration, and DevOps to customers.
Perspecta was already awarded its first task order on the program, valued at $16 million. It will provide the FAS Integrated Acquisition Environment (IAE) organization with development as well as operations and maintenance of beta.SAM.gov, the agency’s effort to streamline and consolidate 10 legacy federal award systems into a single website.
Centauri and PixElement Selected for Award at F-35 Lightning II JPO Pitch Day
PixElement and Centauri were selected for an award at the F-35 Lightning II Joint Program Office (JPO) Pitch Day in Washington, D.C., on November 21, 2019. Along with Rhea Space Activity, they will develop Cloud-Enabled RADAR Change-detection (CERC) to address significant F-35 mission planning and execution enhancements based on improved change detection, targeting identification, and target geolocation capability via EO/IR and radar fusion.
Vricon 3D Surface Models Available Through Cesium ion
Vricon has partnered with Cesium to bring 3D Tilesets for seven locations around the world through Cesium ion. Customers can use 3D surface models to explore areas from Honolulu to Damascus, Syria. Free demos will be available through January 6, 2020.

She is being recognized for her distinguished record in the diverse fields of planetary science and infrared astronomy, science policy and advocacy, and aerospace industry leadership.
Dell Technologies named Jeff Clarke as chief operating officer (COO) and vice chairman. Previously, Clarke served as vice chairman of Products & Operations. As COO, Clarke will retain his current responsibilities and have oversight of day-to-day business operations working closely with Dell and the Dell Technologies’ executive leadership team (ELT).
